Adrian Rice started Acrobat in 1998

I learnt about the rental business from 12 years service in a family concern, Adrian Truck Hire Ltd of Reading, Berkshire.  In 1995, we sold the Company to Transport Development Group (TDG plc) although it is now part of Northgate Motor Holdings.  I then started a new venture specialising in temperature-controlled vehicles, a niche market that was constantly in demand.

I am 38 and married to Paula who is also the Company Secretary. We both have a 50% shareholding in Acrobat.

I run my business according to my Christian faith. This should be reflected in an honest description of vehicles and accurate billing. We work hard to deliver good value and honour promises made. We strive to exceed customers expectations.
